Ted Camp // 2023-Now

A magical tent and pop-up Ted Camp adoption event. People of all ages are invited to hang out and adopt a Ted if they connect with one. Experiences can be fun, or deeply profound. It’s an ideal psychedelic healing setting, and that’s a big interest of mine.

Magic Ted // 2024-Now

A sister project to Ted Camp, I developed an interactive map for people to tag Teds on worldwide adventures. So far we have Teds visiting as far as Iceland, Mexico and the Great Wall of China. So cool. Adopt a Ted, take it on adventures and tag it on the map.

Eleanor’s Maps // 2023-Now

Inspired by childhood drawings and lifetime feelings of not belonging, my neurodiverse brain loves to create maps of made-up places in black & white line drawings. I drew my first series and am experimenting with printing them on different materials.

Kindling Space // 2021-Now

Lifelong struggles with mental health inspired me to set up a peer support campfire group. It began in 2021 for women with experience of trauma. I re-launched it in 2025 as a social group for all ages & genders. Join us! We meet weekly outside Brighton.

Eyes On Trauma // 2018-Now

My own research led me to answers the mental health system could not give me. Discovering complex trauma explained my lifetime of emotional distress. I am seeking PhD funding and work with charities and academics as a lived experience consultant.

Past Projects

SaltyJobs // 2016-2018

After volunteering and working for sailing charities for 10+ years, I set up a business using social media to promote maritime job opportunities. SaltyJobs was well recognised across the industry and we facilitated life-changing opportunities.

Elizmor // 2013-2015

At 23 I bought a 53ft 1948 big old wooden ship. Brought her back to life and sailed her from Preston (north of Liverpool) down the Irish Sea back to Brighton. Held amazing parties. Made a blog, found maritime sponsorship. Coolest thing I’ve ever done.

RYA Yachtmaster // 2006-2016

Volunteering and working as crew over 10+ years for sail training charities around the UK. Awarded a bursary to complete professional RYA Yachtmaster training. Responsible for taking challenging groups on residential voyages at sea.

jellyTeens // 2007-2009

Interviewing teens for my book led to setting up a youth insight agency. I delivered bespoke youth research projects for big brands including Red Bull and a London media agency. I was also represented by a speaking agent and spoke around Europe.

How Teenagers Think // 2005-2008

At the age of 15, I signed a publishing deal for my first book, ‘How Teenagers Think’. An insider’s guide for parents about bringing up teenagers, written from the teens’ perspective. Translated into foreign languages and led to speaking at conferences.

bluejackQ // 2003-2005

At 13 I found out about a security flaw in Bluetooth mobile phones and created a website about it. It went viral in the early 2000’s internet way. I was interviewed for media all over the world, clocking up over 8,000,000 page views. I had a lot of fun.
